Which grade am I?
Mānuka is a native New Zealand tree with tiny white or pink flowers. Bees collect nectar from these flowers and turn it into Mānuka honey.
What makes it different is MGO, short for methylglyoxal, a natural compound linked to Mānuka’s antibacterial activity. The higher the MGO number, the stronger and more active the honey.
